St. Louis, Mo., August, 15, 2012 – Overhead Door Co. of St. Louis is among 11 businesses and two charities that will be presented with BBB TORCH Awards for exceptional ethical business practices and customer service from the Better Business Bureau (BBB) Serving Eastern Missouri and Southern Illinois on Nov. 2.
For Overhead Door, a BBB Accredited Business since 1995, being the first door company to answer a potential customer’s call is key. Every customer considers his problem to be an emergency, and technicians are trained to recognize that. The company provides service on all kinds of residential and commercial doors 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
“We want to get there today,” said Joe Fisher, vice president and general manager of Overhead Door, which recently moved to Maryland Heights. The company has more than 70 trucks on the road every day, each manned by a technician trained and certified to provide service, repair or installation of all brands of doors.
The BBB will present the TORCH Awards at a luncheon on Friday, Nov. 2 at the Chase Park Plaza. Tickets for the luncheon are available at $50 a person, or $500 for a table of 10.
