St. Louis, Mo., Sept. 22, 2010 – Coach House Garages of Arthur, Ill., is among two charities and ten businesses who are winners of TORCH Awards for exceptional ethical business practices and customers service from the Better Business Bureau (BBB) Serving Eastern Missouri and Southern Illinois.
Coach House was founded 36 years ago as a builder of garages and overhead doors but now focuses on garages alone. The company assembles all the pieces for each garage on trailers that deliver the components to its dealers’ customers, spread across Illinois, Missouri, Indiana and Iowa. Dozens of styles are available, and garages can be customized to meet special needs.
President Jim Yoder says Coach House doesn’t compete on price. “The quality of our workmanship won’t let us,” he said. The company, a BBB Accredited Business, pays its crews bonuses based on production, quality and safety, as well as benefits that include a retirement savings, health and life insurance in a cafeteria plan.
The BBB will present the TORCH Awards at a luncheon on Friday, Oct. 29 at the Chase Park Plaza. Tickets for the luncheon are available at $40 a person, or $400 for a table of 10. Patron tables for 10 are available for $1,500. Reservations can be made by calling 314-645-3300.
