St. Louis, Mo., September 30, 2009 – Fry-Wagner Moving & Storage Co. of Earth City, Mo., is among two charities and ten businesses who are winners of TORCH Awards for exceptional ethical business practices from the Better Business Bureau (BBB) Serving Eastern Missouri and Southern Illinois.

Fry-Wagner, a United Van Lines agent and BBB Accredited Business, with five branches in Missouri and Illinois, is so focused on customer service that each employee must sign a “customer bill of rights” upon being hired. Many display the rights outside their cubicles in the company’s Earth City headquarters.

Milton Fry is chairman and his son, Larry, is the company president, overseeing all organizational functions while working out of the Kansas City  branch. Dan Zessinger is vice president and general manager of the Earth City facility. The company focus on the customer is the key to its success, Zessinger says.

The BBB will present the TORCH Awards at a luncheon on Friday, Oct. 30 at the Chase Park Plaza. Tickets for the luncheon are available at $40 a person, or $400 for a table of 10. Patron tables for 10 are available for $1,500. Reservations can be made by calling 314-645-3300.
