St. Louis, Mo., Dec. 26, 2013
– Better Business Bureau
(BBB) has revoked BBB Accreditation of AAA Restoration
, P.O. Box 190276, St. Louis, Mo., for a violation of BBB’s Accreditation Agreement
. BBB’s Executive Committee took these actions on Dec. 17, 2013, at the recommendation of its Standards and Compliance Committee.
BBB notified AAA Restoration on numerous occasions between June 14 and Nov. 26, 2013, regarding a customer complaint about repairs from tornado damage. The company failed to make a good-faith effort to resolve the complaint.BBB Accredited Businesses
are required to respond to customer complaints and BBB inquiries, to make a good faith effort to resolve complaints and to honor arbitration decisions. Failure to do so is considered prejudicial to the best interests of BBB and private enterprise.
Expulsion from accreditation status is unfortunate. However, BBB takes enforcement of its standards
very seriously. Applicants for BBB Accreditation also must meet BBB standards. They can be denied accreditation if they fail to comply.BBB Standards of Accreditation
are designed to offer consumers confidence before they make purchasing decisions. Consumers are urged to contact BBB at 314-645-3300 or www.bbb.org
, for a BBB Business Review before doing business with any company or charity.Contacts (News Media Only):
