St. Louis, Mo., Jan. 25, 2013 - The Better Business Bureau (BBB) has revoked the BBB accreditation of Royal Solutions LLC, Lucas Updates LLC and John Woods Roofing for violations of the BBB’s Accreditation Agreement.

The BBB’s Executive Committee took these actions on Jan. 22, 2013, at the recommendation of its Ethics Committee.

Royal Solutions LLC, 200 University Park Drive, Suite 260, Edwardsville, Ill., was notified on numerous occasions between August 13 and Oct. 29, 2012, regarding a customer complaint about poor customer service.  The firm failed to respond to the complaint.

Lucas Updates LLC, 2178 Wilderness Trail, Barnhart, Mo., was notified on numerous occasions between August 13 and Oct. 24, 2012, regarding a customer complaint to make requested repairs. The firm failed to respond to the complaint.

John Woods Roofing, 35438 Highway 72, Salem, Mo., was notified on numerous occasions between Sept. 20 and Nov. 20, 2012, regarding a customer complaint on delays in making repairs. The firm failed to respond to the complaint.

BBB Accredited Businesses are required to respond to customer complaints and BBB inquiries, to make a good faith effort to resolve complaints and to honor arbitration decisions. Failure to do so is considered prejudicial to the best interests of the BBB and private enterprise.  Expulsion from accreditation status is unfortunate. However, the BBB takes enforcement of its standards very seriously. The standards are applied to new applicants, who can be denied accreditation if they fail to comply.

BBB Standards of Accreditation are designed to offer consumers confidence before they make purchasing decisions.
